The Liberal Chamber of Commerce doors are always open to anyone interested in starting a retail or service business. We will do all we can to provide needed information and help in any way we can.
Retail space is currently available in the downtown area, in the mall in the south part of town, and in the strip malls in the north part of our city.
The Seward County Development Corporation, under the direction of Eli Svaty, E.D. is always available to help the Liberal community grow. The vision of SCDC is to improve the quality of life for local businesses and local citizens. They worked on community development and on business recruitment and expansion. They partner with local school districts to create a culture of innovation through entrepreneurship competition and business fairs. They work with the Liberal Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center to identify the needs of local businesses. They work with local non-profits to secure grants so that services in our community remain strong.
