
What is the Chamber of Commerce?

The chamber is a non-profit organization of businesses and industries that pool their resources together for the common good of the community. It functions from a set of policies and procedures as approved by its 22 member Board of Directors. The day-to-day operations are administered by a full time professional staff accountable to the board.

Why Invest in the Chamber?
|
The Chamber is the front door to our community-a place where visitors and newcomers get their first impression of Liberal. The Chamber develops information, prepares data and brochures that tell the ‘Liberal Story’ and answer thousands of questions about our community made in person, by mail, by e-mail and by telephone. The Chamber coordinates the talents and efforts of local business and professional people who work together to promote Liberal.

What the Chamber of Commerce is Not:

A Chamber of Commerce is not a department of the city, county, or state governments. A Chamber is not a social, service, welfare or charitable club or organization.
