few years and is projected to remain high in the
future. Seward County is the fifth fastest
growing county in Kansas, with Liberal growing
significantly faster than most rural Kansas

regional airport offers several flights to and

The Economic backbone of our area includes a mix
of agribusiness and industry. Major businesses
include beef and pork production and processing,
oil and gas, truck transportation, education,
cotton warehousing, grain production, packaged
foods, ethanol production and trailer
manufacturing.
