Seward County Community College/Area Technical School:
At SCCC/ATS, you’ll never get lost in the crowd. With a low student-teacher ratio, you will get the individual attention you need from experienced faculty. With a staff that really cares, student success is high priority. The college’s library is both high-tech and student friendly and the Academic Achievement Center provides free tutoring.

SCCC/ATS offers two-year associate’s degree programs that prepare students to transfer to colleges or universities to complete a bachelor’s degree. SCCC/ATS also offers one-and two-year career/technical programs that prepare students for immediate entry into the workforce. SCCC/ATS has partnerships with numerous public and private universities allowing individuals to complete a Bachelor's degree without relocating.

In addition to general education classes and degree and certificate programs, SCCC/ATS offers a wide variety of other services including cosmetology services, business and industry training and culture and athletic events. The college houses a comprehensive Wellness Center and swimming pool, the Saints Bookstore with apparel and gifts, a student housing, a library with services available for the community, and a challenge course that promotes leadership training.  The college's athletic teams, the Saints, are frequently nationally ranked in the NJCAA polls and all events are open to the public.  Enjoy men's baseball, basketball and tennis and women's softball, tennis, volleyball, and basketball throughout the year.

Art shows and sales, plays, musicals, and concerts provide cultural entertainment all year. The public is invited to attend these college events as well as numerous events featuring guest artists, and performers.

The SCCC Development Foundation provides an avenue for individuals and groups to support student scholarship and instruction. The Development Foundation holds an annual auction in the fall complete with fine food, entertainment, and a variety of live and silent auction items.

Individuals pursuing a Kansas State High School diploma or seeking English as a Second Language (ESL), citizenship classes, or other Adult Basic Education services may obtain these at the Colvin Adult Learning Center. Over 500 people annually complete classes at the center.
